Carol M. Rumack, MD, FACR,
the founding president of the AAWR has been elected as the 2009
President of the American College of Radiology, and
is the 2009 American Roentgen Ray Society Gold Medalist. The
2009 AAWR President, Etta D. Pisano, MD, FACR,
was one of three recipients of the 2009 University Award for
the Advancement of Women, presented by the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ella A. Kazerooni, MD, MS a
member of the AAWR since 1993 is one of two recipients of the
2009 AUR Gold Medal. The AAWR congratulates its members for their
