The American Association for Women in Radiology (AAWR) is pleased to announce a Group Professional Coaching Pilot Program for active AAWR members. This program is designed to support members in exploring professional development, leadership, and work-life fulfillment in a small, confidential group setting.

Program Details:

  • Target Audience: Active members of the AAWR in all stages of their careers, including early, mid-career, and senior members.
  • Format: Small group coaching (4-5 members per group) with an experienced professional coach.
  • Duration: 4 sessions over 3 months (Sept - November).
  • Cost to Participants: $200 (equivalent to $50 per session).
  • Focus Areas: Career junctures, leadership development, burnout, work-life integration, and more (customized to participant needs).

Lori A. Deitte, MD, FAAR, FACR

I am a certified coach, a physician leader, and an experienced faculty development educator. I have mentored and coached over 130 physicians and other individuals. Additionally, I have published multiple peer-reviewed papers and have given national invited presentations in this space.

I received my medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My leadership positions have included radiology residency program director, vice chair of education, Vanderbilt University Medical Center vice president for continuous professional development, and multiple leadership positions with national professional organizations in radiology.

Julia R. Fielding, MD

I am a radiologist with 30 years’ experience in academic medicine, most recently as Professor of Radiology, Chief of Abdominal Radiology, University of Texas Southwestern Dallas (UTSW). I was a member of the admissions committees for medical school, radiology residency and fellowship at Harvard University Hospitals, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and UTSW.

Throughout my career, I have advocated for women in medicine. I am the Former President of the

American Association of Women in Radiology, Founder of the Committee for Women of the American College of Radiology and co-founder of the Diversity Collaborative UTSW. Overall, I have mentored and coached nearly 100 women in leadership, performance and methods to achieve their goals.



Aneesa S. Majid, MD, MBA, FSIR CPE

Aneesa S. Majid, MD, MBA, FSIR CPE is an experienced physician leader, executive coach, and entrepreneur, with over 20 years of clinical and business experience. Dr. Majid is a board-certified interventional radiologist, and previously was a partner in one of the longstanding IR/DR practices in Dallas, TX. While with this practice, Dr. Majid served as Chairperson of the radiology departments at Methodist Dallas and Methodist Charlton Hospitals. In 2014, she founded her own IR practice, MTVIR, PLLC, with locations in Dallas and west Texas. In 2013, Dr. Majid became a founder of ZipData, INC; a healthcare IT interoperability company currently focused on removing the e-fax from medical communication and improving data transfer. She assumed the role of CEO in September, 2020. ZipData is currently undergoing commercialization in the US market.

Dr. Majid has held numerous positions in the field of radiology, where she has expanded on both her diagnostic and interventional skills. Additionally, Dr. Majid has spearheaded multiple consultative roles, aiding various facilities in the progression and expansion of their radiology service line offerings. She has been responsible for collaborating with hospital leadership and physicians, participated in hiring decisions, and implemented new department procedures geared toward quality assurance and improved patient care outcomes.

Dr. Majid received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her post-graduate training in surgery and radiology at VCU/Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Majid completed her fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at RUSH University Medical Center.

In 2017, Dr. Majid earned an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and focuses on leadership and organizations, operations management, and marketing strategy.

Dr. Majid became a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association of Physician Leaders. She became a certified executive coach through the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching and the Physician Coaching Institute, both part of the International Coaching Federation. Her focus is on leadership development, the effect leaders have on culture in healthcare organizations and the importance of civility and community in the workplace.
