Lori A. Deitte, MD, FAAR, FACR

Dr. Lori Deitte is an abdominal imaging radiologist in Nashville, TN. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, majoring in mathematics and physics. She received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she also completed her radiology residency training and abdominal imaging fellowship. She then joined a small private practice group in Johnson City, TN.

Twelve years later she pivoted her career from private practice to academic radiology, first at the University of Florida and then at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her leadership positions have included chairperson of a private practice department, radiology residency program director, vice chair of education, vice president for continuous professional development, and multiple leadership positions with the APDR, ACR, AAR, and AAWR.

Her focus has been on developing the next generation of radiologists and leaders. She has mentored and coached over 130 physicians and other individuals in leadership development, performance, goal achievement, and optimizing personal and professional fulfillment. She has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer reviewed publications and given more than 160 invited regional, national, and international presentations.

Lori enjoys traveling, kayaking in northern Wisconsin, and participating in group exercise classes, including Zumba. Family time is a priority, and she savors her time with her husband, Mark, their three grown children, and their eleven grandchildren.
