University of Missouri Health Care Mai-Lan Ho, MD, is an accomplished physician-scientist-leader with clinical expertise in advanced neuroimaging and imaging genomics. Her research focus involves technology translation, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine. She has been recognized with over 100 awards, 100 publications, 500 lectures, and committee service for various regional, national, and international medical societies. Her leadership and advocacy for women includes Chair of Women in Medicine and Medical Sciences at the University of Missouri, Secretary of the Association for Staff and Faculty Women at The Ohio State University, Editor of the AAWR Pocket Mentor, Co-Chair of AAWR Focus, and Fellowship of the AAWR.
Dr. Ho’s academic background in advanced imaging, precision health, and global radiology spans the full spectrum of primary to quaternary care. Having worked and collaborated at various hospitals, she has built enterprise infrastructure for interdisciplinary clinical care & research; established innovative educational and mentorship curricula; and created hospital programs for leadership and international relations. Complemented by an engineering and musical background, Dr. Ho serves as a “bridge builder” among physicians, scientists, and patients in various specialties, exemplifying both the art and science of medicine. |
