PGY-II Diagnostic Radiology Resident
Dr. Mona Roshan is a Diagnostic Radiology resident at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center. She completed her Transitional Year internship at Riverside Community Hospital, where she served on the Wellness, Recruitment, and Program Evaluation Committees. Dr. Roshan earned her MD from FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA), the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS), and Sigma Xi. Prior to medical school, she completed both her BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and MS in Biology at UC San Diego, graduating summa cum laude as a three-year undergraduate with departmental honors and election to Phi Beta Kappa. Her academic and leadership experiences have shaped her passion for radiology research, medical education, mentorship, and advancing equitable access to imaging. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Association for Women in Radiology (AAWR) as Members-in-Training Co-Chair, where she is committed to fostering mentorship, leadership development, and community among trainees in radiology. Outside of medicine, she enjoys fitness, travel, and spending time with family and friends. |
